I am the PR chair for my chapter. I am looking into making little "back to school" gift baskets for all of the Panhel/IFC chapters on my campus. What are some cute ideas to stand out, be different, and thoughtful while still being cheap?

The easiest way to brainstorm for a gift basket idea is think of items by category. Once you land on a concept, then the ideas for your content comes more easily. Build little bags/buckets/baskets with treats by purchasing small gifts, or DIY some of the items……..

  • food themes: ingredients for s’mores, candy & popcorn assortment, chocolate covered fortune cookies, chips & salsa, chocolate covered fruit, gourmet teas, Starbucks coffee assortment, cupcake/cake baking kits, cookie cutters & cookie mix, restaurant gift certificates, jar of cookies, hot coco & marshmallows kit, mason jar & sweet tea combo, cake pops.
  • paper themes: mini clipboards, note cubes, small memo boards, notepads & imprinted pencils/pens, panhellenic playing cards, cardboard coasters.
  • fun stuff: imprinted mini Frisbees, koozies, Panhellenic buttons, magnets, “inexpensive” sunglasses, headbands/head-sashes, fanny packs, key fobs, hair ties (plain or imprinted), lanyards, coffee sleeves.

Hi Sororitysugar! I was wondering how to make those cute sorority buttons that are worn mostly on game days. Or where could I order customizable buttons. I want to design some for my chapter.
